This is the brunch for that REALLY special someone.  We’re not talking a casual acquaintance or new boyfriend.  If you’re going to treat someone to anything from The Back in the Day Bakery Cookbook, you better really like them because these recipes are like a love potion.  No pressure.

For your appetizer, start with the Ham and Cheese Pastry Puffs.  The buttery, richness of the puff pastry and the salty ham and cheese will whet your appetite for the main event.
